For fast food they are awesome! Everything is GF except the tortilla shells. I love the online app to order food ahead of time and avoid the line at lunch time. The line can get really long but moves very fast. The staff is super friendly. Way much better food then qudoba! Only thing I dont like is how expensive it is for guacamole and chips. The place is usually clean when I come on and the bathrooms are nice.

First, I'd like to start by expressing how much my family and I love the food at Chipotle Mexican Grill. At this location, the food options have always been fresh and tasted great which is why, unless there is a food quality issue, we will continue to gorge ourselves on possibly a biweekly basis. However, with this specific location, the reason I only rated it "3 stars" is due to lack of cleanliness inside the restaurant and the fact that their customer service is very undesirable and irritating. I'll explain below. First, the assembling line workers rush you so quickly through the order assembling process that you are made to feel like an inconvenience to their day. While this is not a huge deal breaker for me, because I personally get everything available on my burritos, some customers might find this rushed treatment off-putting and may need a minute to decide between pinto beans and black beans. Secondly, the assembling line workers (or whatever they are called) yell back and forth between each other on the assembling line and between what I am assuming is a food prep worker in a location in back. This has left me with a feeling that they are unorganized and unprofessional. This yelling action could very well be how each employee is trained. It may even be listed in the employee manual that you are to yell out, at the top of your lungs, if you are running low on an item. However, it is unprofessional and the Chipotle management team should come up with a more effective, customer friendly, way to solve this problem. If you are running low on pinto beans there is no reason to yell that out while in the midst of serving a customer. A suggestion would be to have a prep worker, if there is a designated one, make frequent checks to the assembling line to see what is running low and in need of refilling. If you do not have a designated food prep worker, assign one. The yelling is horribly unprofessional. Thirdly and most frustrating of all, their hurried actions during assembling have left our items in shambles. At my last visit to this location, our burritos were ripped in so many spots they might as well have been bowls. It was a bit disheartening. I like smashing my entire face into the burrito when I eat. This was not possible with my last order and it left a hole in my heart. Because the contents were falling all over the place, before I was even able to sink my teeth into it's greatness, I had to eat my burrito with a fork like a civilized human being. I know this is not a great catastrophe, but I personally like my burritos whole and not falling into my lap. Lastly, the seating area and beverage area is not kept tidy and clean. Both times I have been to this location there has been trash and old food littering the floor. There was also multiple tables that were dirty with trash and old food on them. I would even go so far as to say the seating area was a complete disaster and gross. It does not make a good impression since that is the first thing you see when you enter the restaurant. Both times we have chosen to take out order "to go" because of the lack of cleanliness in the seating area. The mess is not just under one table as if a messy customer had just left. It is under multiple tables and in the common walk ways. Additionally, the floor area in front of the beverage station was wet and sticky. I worked in the fast food industry as a teenager. I know humans are inconsiderate slobs. Which is why there should be an assigned seating area attendant to care for the area. Especially during peak hours when customers are in a rush and careless. My concern is that a customer could slip and fall on a wet flooring from spilled beverages and then the next thing you know you are shelling out money from a lawsuit settlement. As I stated above, I really do love the food at this location. It is also fresh and in stock. We have been very happy, and full, each time we have ordered here. By making just a few tweaks to the daily operation it would make this location a top rated choice, for dining out, in the area. The quality of their food and their reasonable prices already have them well above other food options around them. Step it up just a little more and knock it out of the park! ~God bless!

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE the food at chipotle. This store is the worst one I've ever been to, the workers rush you so fast through the line you can't even look or choose what you actually want. The last time I went here the guy started picking for me.. Seriously of course it's busy and what not but the customer service we received was ridiculous.

The place is usually packed, which is generally a good thing. The problem with this is there is not enough seating. When there are tables available they are often dirty. Bad way to start a review, I know. This is a point of frustration with me here. This place is often compared to Qdoba. I like the rice and guacamole here better. The chips are very good. The portions are pretty small, I got a burrito bowl and a medium drink it was almost 10 dollars. I find this kinda pricey for the portion size. You will get more for your money at Qdoba. Don't get me wrong, I do like the food here and I have been going here since they opened. Since they opened the portions have gotten consistently small. Staff is always polite. If you are looking for an over priced under portioned meal at a dirty table if one is available then this is your place. Take a number and wait in the line that is often to the door.

Both times I've been here, the steak in my burrito has been full of gristle. Never happens at Qdoba. I don't think I'll be returning.

Food is great. Customer service is awful and they're always busy. I hate feeling like I'm being rushed through that line. I come prepared and tell them what I want but have to repeat myself because the workers are running around like frenzied chickens. The cashier could at least finish with me and look at me when she says thank you instead of handing me my card, turning away and pulling in the next customer. I have to remind myself to go somewhere else. While the food is delicious, the service puts me in a bad mood every time I come here!

I came in craving their tofu- chipolte has the best tofu (when you can find it). It wasn't until I was already trapped in line that I learned they don't have it here because it "doesn't sell well at this location" and they "don't have the correct type of grill to make it" (this is what I was told at least. I maintain that they can make it and they do make it and then they eat it all themselves because it's so good and there is none left for me when I come in). Anyway, being told this was distressing namely because I had already started ordering my bowl and couldn't get out of line. In addition to not having tofu, they were out of guacamole and I only got a few of the the soggy, bottom of the pan veggies. The drink station wasn't stocked well and all the tables were messy. We sort of brushed aside salsa bits to clean a spot off. The bright spot was that the staff was uber friendly and seemed equally saddened by their inability to provide tofu to a customer. I'm willing to make amends with this chipolte once they have tofu available. I can look past the dirty tables, not having lids or lemons at the drink counter, and lack of guacamole with that one thing.

I love the ease and convenience of Chipotle. The staff have always been great in my 50+ times here, and they finally have sofritas (seasoned tofu with peppers) option! ;) My only negative is I can't believe they charge $2 extra for a spoon full of guacamole... lol

STINGIEST CHIPOTLE EVER!! I ordered a burrito w/ all the typical components (rice, beans, meat, salsa, cheese, and lettuce) and it came out so small, it was the size of a softball. The worker making my burrito didn't even use the entire spoon to scoop the ingredients... it was more like a sprinkling of each ingredient rather than a scoop. When I asked the cashier if all of their burritos came out that small, she said no, and that it depends on what you get in it... but the only ingredients I DIDN'T get in it were sour cream and guacamole (which wouldn't have made the burrito noticeably bigger anyway). I instantly had buyer's remorpaying nearly $8 for a tiny amount of food and got a refund. I will NOT be going back...

The burritos here didn't live up to the hype I was expecting. It was alright. My family ordered quesadillas and boy were they awful. I don't know, maybe it's the location but probably won't be coming back.

I've been frequenting this chipotle for years and when they bring their A game it's truly a stellar experience. But Unfortunately, when it comes to restaurants it's their inconsistencies that will be the most memorable and ultimately the downfall of it's repeat business. That being said..the past couple visits were not only lacking in flavor but even more so in the quality of meat being served. Fatty steak and chicken that wasn't fully cooked on two back to back visits can quickly diminish anyone's desire. However, the real beef I have with this location is with it's employees blitz like preparation of getting you in and out the door as quickly as possible. Anyone putting in burrito orders for 4 + people can relate that it's no easy task especially when the employee is rushing you. Ultimately, what you end up with is orders that are inaccurate and a sense that you've inconvenienced them by coming in. Now I understand the motivation in keeping things moving when it's busy but when your the only customer in line its just unnecessary and rude.

Great experience! I went in and ordered a burrito with way too much stuff in it. Of course it ripped upon rolling up. When they asked if I wanted them to roll a new one or double roll it, I declined because I was in a hurry. After them asking a couple times if I was sure and me reassuring them, I walked up to the cash register with a different employee standing there. She said I was "good" and I stood there in disbelief with my debit card outstretched in case I'd heard her wrong. She assured me again I was all set. Now I was the one asking multiple times if she was sure. That was the best tasting (ripped) burrito I've ever had.

When this location first opened I would have given is 5 stars without thinking twice, it used to have a solid, knowledgeable, dedicated staff that knew us, but with constant management and staff turn-over the quality has gone down hill. They're constantly out of line items, I often dine with a couple people with gluten allergies, which never used to be a problem here. We'd come in a few times a week, they'd change their gloves when they saw us without asking, and grab fresh spoons for the items we needed, if not fresh line items that hadn't been used yet. Now, rarely do the people on the line know or care about proper procedures to serve those with allergies, to the point where we don't come in anymore, I'll occasionally stop by if I'm alone, but with a group there are other places in town that care enough to get our business.

Typical chipotle. Nothing new or bad. You go to this pretty average looking chain restaurant, get the tasty good and get out. One thing is that the people who work there are very friendly and energetic. But I think you get a relatively small mount of guacamole for the $2 you pay. That's the only complaint I have . :-D

I don't usually review chains... but this one is worth my time. I really love Chipotle. Always have. Glad they've added one to GR. First thing you should know: This is NOT authentic mexican in any way, shape, or form. This is an assembly-line build your own burrito (taco, or salad) joint. If you want REAL mexican fare turn the other way my friends. Compared to Moe's or Qdoba, Chipotle takes the cake. I won't even walk into either of the other establishments. Ingredients are delicious, fresh, and flavorful. I recommend the carnitas (lime marinated pork.) Pack that into a tortilla with their super yummy cilantro infused rice, salsa of your choice, and some cheese and I'm a happy girl. Chips here are much better than other places like th is. I get cravings for this place... it's probably good I live on the other side of town.

First time at Chipotle Grill...dropped in on a whim just to check the place out. It was just about 11:30 a.m. but the parking lot was full. Soon it became clear that much of the congestion outside this strip mall was likely to be sitting enjoying lunch at this popular lunch hotspot! The interior decor is contemporary with a clean finish. I was a little unsure of how the ordering cycle worked, but the staff were gracious and very helpful. This is fast food with a conscience. In fact the website talks about 'Food with Integrity' I learned that you try to buy fresh, local products whenever possible and that their chicken and pork are raised under humane conditions and therefore are not filled with antibiotics to keep them alive. My order was a burrito (chicken) I asked for the hot sauce which has a definite kick. I loved it, but if you don't like spice stick with the medium or milder options. Also, you can place orders for pick-up which might be a good idea as they seem very busy for lunch.

Whoo Hoo!! Grand Rapids finally has gotten a Chipotle. People are catching on becuase that place is rockin during lunch, so go early if you in a time crunch. If you don't, the line goes fast anyway. They have a limited, simple, yet yummy menu. I love the veggie burrito and their guacamole is fresh. :: thumbs up ::

just knowing that I'm eating 'organic' and locally-sourced ingredients is enough for me... not counting great taste. Yes, if you don't know this Chipotle promotes responsible farming. They only get ingredients from responsible farmers.

I'm hooked. My sister intruduced me to Chipotle when we were in Clearwater Beach, I've been coming here for dinner regularly ever since. Love the chicken burrito bowl, cover it with onions and peppers. It's the best fast food going, and head and shoulders over Qdoba. I go there every chance I get.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
